- Friday, October 4th- Alberta Bair permission slip and $5.50 due ASAP
   - If you need another permission slip, please stop me after school  
     or send a note to school in your child's red folder.

- Wednesday, October 9th @ 9 a.m.- trip to the 17th St. Fire Station- permission coming Tuesday or Wednesday.

- Wednesday, October 16th- Early Dismissal @ noon

• Practice high-frequency words ( I, a, is, it, see)

Math This Week

Objective- Identify the different parts of a calendar (months, year, day)

• At home idea- Use your childs calendar and have him/her find the day of the week a date lands on
• (Ex. October 4th is a Friday and October 9th is a Wednesday)

Objective- Use objects to represent and count the quantity 8, 9, and 10

• At home idea- count crackers, legos, cars, crayons, and other small objects. Write the number 8 and have your child give you 8 legos OR write the number 10 and have your child put 10 legos in each group.
